It is now a global balanced fund, 100% indexed, and very low cost. I am new to investing, looking for simplicity in passive investing and a 'good enough' situation I opened a LifeStrategy Growth Fund (VASGX) [80/20] in a May 7, 2021 · For fixed income, VASGX appears to be weighted somewhat towards US bonds, whereas V80A has a more global bond allocation. In a stock down-turn, you deplete the bond bucket before selling stocks to replenish cash. Then I buy up VTSAX instead afterwards.
